Rugby Food & Drink Festival
The Rugby Spring Food and Drink Festival is back on the menu for Saturday 25 April, between 11am and 5pm, in Rugby town centre.
The FREE event, organised by Rugby Borough Council, will take place in and around Regent Street, and offer visitors a tempting array of delicious food and drink treats, family entertainment and music.
Take the opportunity to stroll around in the Spring sunshine while enjoying the huge range of gastronomic delights that will be on offer, with around fifty stalls, many drawn from local businesses, farms and producers. Much of the food will be freshly cooked, sizzling, full of flavour and ready to eat, and of course some ales, gin, cider and wines, to help wash it all down!!
Further ingredients on the day will include live music and family entertainment – all in all a delicious mix, guaranteed to whet your appetite, quench your thirst and entertain you and your family!

Rock Choir

Rock Choir is the UK’s leading award-winning contemporary choir, offering weekly rehearsals, performances and events in over 400 communities. Founded in 2005 by Caroline Redman Lusher MBE, it introduced a fresh, inclusive approach to community singing. She initiated a brand new, accessible and glamorous approach to contemporary community singing which grew quickly and dramatically from humble beginnings into what it is today.
Open to all, Rock Choir requires no auditions or music-reading ability—just a love of pop and contemporary songs. Members can take part in as much or as little as they like, from local rehearsals to social events, workshops, travel and performances.
Whether building confidence or diving straight in, it’s all about singing, fun, friendship and community.

Bit the Pip

Expect silky vocal harmonies, infectious rhythmic guitar and soaring violin improvisation from Bit The Pip, a folk fusion duo who have busked all around Europe!

A home grown musical hero, returning from his world tours to entertain us with his repertoire of classic 60s hits through to modern indie bangers.

St Andrew's Church
10AM - 3PM
Come along to St. Andrew's Community Cafe and gardens as part of the Rugby Spring Food and Drink Festival. Honey stalls, Eco stalls, and children's craft activities - fun for all.
The cafe will open from 10am - 3pm and the stalls will run from 11am - 3pm.

Decorate an ice-lolly bookmark
Located on Bank Street, join Sam Basnett to make and decorate an ice-lolly bookmark, or creature cute ice-lolly characters to take home using watercolour paint.

Scarecrow art quiz
Be a part of our Scarecrow Art quiz taking place on Bank Street. This is a fun, creative activity supported by local businesses. Seven scarecrows will be positioned on Bank Street and will be holding or wearing a food or drink related item provided by a local business and we want you and your family to guess what that item is – some are fairly easy while some are more challenging so you may need some help!

Jennings Bros
An opportunity to enjoy traditional woodworking skills in action. Three skilled carvers and turners will be setting up a space on regent place where the public can have a go at turning, help to chisel out a decorated post, or carve a simple spoon or spatula using skills and tools that go back hundreds of years.
