In 2004, Rugby Borough Council, in association with the Rugby Historical Society, the Civic Society, Rugby Tourism and the Rugby Town Centre Company (now Rugby First), worked together to research and produce a comprehensive trail of blue plaques, marking out famous buildings, people and events significant to Rugby.
